About Me
Hi, I’m Nazish Naseer.
Your Guide To Personal Growth And Empowerment.
I am working as a counsellor/ psychotherapist from the last 15 years+, equipped with qualifications including M.Ed, B.A (Psychology), F.Da (Counseling), Level 7 Life Coaching, Dip CBT, Dip Psychology, and NLP. I am registered member of BACP.
I offer the support in English, Hindi, Punjabi & Urdu. I am based in Langley, Slough however if you are not local then I can support you virtually via zoom, WhatsApp, skype or phone call.
I chose the name as I thought there are times in our lives, when we reach a point where we find it challenging to cope with issues on our own and it seems that no one understands or is prepared to listen. This is a time when we need to reach out and speak with someone in confidence who is able to empathise, listen and help us to understand what might be happening to us.
I believe that in my practice I am here to LISTEN to you in a Supportive, Therapeutic, Empathic & Non-judgmental way.
Connection between Counselling, Life Coaching and NLP:
Over fifteen years of my experience; I realised that once clients successfully work on their past issues and realize the reasons of their behaviour then they may want support to move forward in the future with their new believes or behaviours. In that case NLP and Life coaching help them.
Counselling usually works with Past and Present issues while NLP and Life Coaching usually works for the future goals. For me as a therapist , a client who comes to me can not only feel better about past and present but also can work towards his/her future.
Counselling clients from diverse backgrounds
I always feel fascinated by my own personal development which brought me initial conflicts between the values of my heritage and those which I have grown up with in British society. Due to my personal challenges, I take a careful and considered approach in understanding your cultural frame of reference and work respectfully with it. I own a personal belief therefore respect every individual belief system. I work transculturally & feel sensitive towards client’s personal belief, values and cultural issues. I worked with Individuals from different cultures, race, and social backgrounds. My interests include exploring how the client’s spiritual belief system affects the process and outcome of therapy.
My Working Experience
Currently, I am working as a clinician with local children services team. I offer support to most vulnerable individuals and families who are dealing with complex issues.
I offer consultation to social workers and training to the staff, families and other professionals. I am qualified parenting and domestic abuse intervention trainer. I am facilitating different parenting programmes like Triple P, Aspect of Parenting and incredible years.
I also facilitate domestic abuse intervention programmes like Shine group, Freedom programme.
I am also working as freelancer with MYNDUP, Solas Mind , ComPsych and few other companies.
In the past, I have worked with local council, Hillingdon Mind, Harlington Hospice.
